In order to provide better support during the lockdown, Nokia wanted to measure the wellbeing of its employees. The final product is an app design that could take inputs from the user to track their physical and emotional wellbeing, provide reports and wellbeing suggestions, and provide a way to talk to the wellbeing support team.

Yes, only if I stay anonymous (8)
As an employee, they can chat anonymously with an expert from the wellbeing support team so that they can get wellbeing support when they need it.
Priority → Anonymity
Lockdown → 1:1 in-person not possible
Only trained professionals to provide wellbeing support
Wellbeing team admin assigns chats to experts in the team
No video/voice call, scheduling, notes, etc. in app
As an employee, they can input their wellbeing parameters like mood, steps, calories, and more, so that they can keep track of them.
Less friction in inputting data → all inputs on homepage
Customizable reports of each parameter like weekly, monthly, all time, etc
Org-wide report for wellbeing support team
As an employee, they can see the activities shared by the wellbeing support team, so that they can perform the recommended activities in real life.
The wellbeing team provides weekly recommendations of activities, articles, videos, etc. related to wellbeing
The wellbeing support team can access engagement statistics to plan for future content

Challenge: Anonymity and support
Wellbeing improvement and stability are from the 'Activities' recommended.
Wellbeing support when decreasing is from anonymous 'Chat'.
Impact: Client was happy and inspired, and would plan for implementation in the next 2 years.
Next: Social wellbeing (online competitions and games, yoga and workouts, org-wide and team-wide activities, 'water-cooler' moments)
Unexpected: Majority of the employees accepting for measuring and collecting their wellbeing data by employer
Expected: Anonymity
Learning: Mental model mismatch ('Help' to 'Chat')
